FRINGE DWELLER: Recommended

Ezra LeBank/Lynx Co.
Interdisciplinary, 60 minutes
One person, one hour, twenty-seven lives. A physically exhilarating, linguistically delightful ride with a French clown, Islamic jihadist, slam poet, et al, grappling with the edges of life. Poetic. Disturbing. Hilarious. Brilliant. Etc. Click Here for Showtimes

New Paradise Laboratories
Theater, 70 minutes
Your friend is getting married and wants to say goodbye to single life forever, so you throw the party to end all parties. It’s a right of passage, a ritual of our times, as any bachelor/ette party honoree or victim can tell you. Part performance art, part sporting event, and part profane trip into the underworld, BATCH is a bawdy, gender-bending blowout that showcases the OBIE Award-winning style that earned New Paradise Laboratories the distinction of Philadelphia Magazine‘s 2006 Theater Company of the Year. This collaboration between NPL artistic director Whit MacLaughlin and Los Angeles playwright Alice Taun recently debuted at the 31st Humana Festival of New American Plays. If you can think of anything more tantalizing than a bachelor/ette party thrown by the stellar local talents who brought you Planetary Enzyme Blues (2005) and Don Juan in Nirvana (2004), speak now, friends, or forever hold your peace.

This performance will include full frontal male and female nudity. Click Here for Showtimes
